Pudhari Online Desk: In the general elections in Pakistan, Imran Khan’s PTI party has won 47 seats out of 106. And 26 parliamentary opposition candidates supported by PTI are Aghadivar. However, the influence of former Prime Minister Imran Khan on politicians in Pakistan still seems to be intact, as reported by ‘Hindustan Times’.

According to the website of the Election Commission of Pakistan, Imran Khan’s party is giving a tough competition to PTI, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the elections held in January 2015. The Election Commission of Pakistan has declared a total of 57 seats so far. In this, PML-N party led by former Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif and his brother Nawaz Sharif has won 123 seats from Lahore. A total of 18 seats have been won by PML-N.

The opposition candidate supported by the PTI party led by incumbent Imran Khan has won 26 parliamentary constituencies. Whereas PPP under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had 20 Jaga Jinkalya till 3 pm and the other five Jaga Jinkalya. This is what is said further.

Voting started in Pakistan at 8 am on Thursday and continued till 5 pm. If more than 12 crore voters had voted, a public holiday would have been declared across the country. After the voting ended, voting started and after the mandatory restrictions were over, individual polling stations were opened. Imran Khan’s side is claiming victory over some candidates supported by PTI. He has been accused of tampering in polling stations and deliberately suppressing voting. (Pakistan Election Result 2024)

Nine people, including two children, have been killed in the violence that took place at various places in Yakheri. As a precautionary measure, a ban on internet use would have been imposed. However, due to this people have become more upset. Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Imran Khan would have had the right to vote through Turungatunch Tapala. (Pakistan Election Result 2024)
