Pakistan: Imran Khan’s trouble increased, now terrorism case filed against PTI leaders including former PM

Imran Khan News: The difficulties of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief and former Prime Minister Imran Khan do not seem to be reducing. In fact, the Pakistan Police on Sunday registered a case of terrorism against Imran Khan and more than a dozen leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Imran Khan and PTI leaders have been accused of vandalizing, attacking security personnel and causing disturbance outside the judicial complex in Islamabad.

Clashes took place outside the court premises

Recently, 70-year-old Imran Khan had reached a court in Islamabad for a hearing in the Toshakhana case, where he got relief outside the courtroom. In fact, such a huge crowd had gathered near the court premises that the judge canceled the arrest warrant accepting their presence outside the court room itself. More than 25 security personnel were injured in violent clashes with PTI supporters near the court premises. In addition, a nearby public building was set on fire. After which the hearing of the Toshakhana case was postponed till 30 March.

Islamabad Police had registered an FIR

According to Geo News, the names of around 17 PTI leaders were named in the FIR registered by the Islamabad Police. According to the FIR, the activists damaged the police post and the main gate of the court complex. During this incident of arson and stone pelting also took place, for which 18 people were arrested. According to the FIR lodged by the police, almost two police vehicles and seven motorcycles were set ablaze and the official vehicle of the SHO was also damaged. It is noteworthy that immediately after Imran Khan went to Islamabad to attend the hearing, more than 10,000 security personnel raided his Zaman Park residence in Lahore and arrested dozens of his party workers.
