Interestingly, in the Women’s Premier League (WPL) auction, our Smriti Mandhana was bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for Rs 3.4 crore, which is almost the same amount as the PSL champions. If we talk about the money received by the IPL winner, then last season’s winner Gujarat Titans got 20 crores, while the runner-up Rajasthan Royals got 13 crores, which is much more than Pakistan Super League.
