Further reacting to the criticism of Mere Mehboob, Tripti said that people will like some things and dislike some things. But that shouldn’t stop a person from experimenting or doing what he wants to do. She doesn’t want to hold herself back, wants to look straight ahead and keep doing what she loves. “If you start thinking about what people will say and how people will understand it, you’re not going to be honest about what you’re doing,” Tripti said.
