Union Minister Piyush Goyal said that PM Modi has announced Mitra Mega Textile Parks in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat and UP at 7 pm. This is a major initiative to achieve the 5F vision of PM.

Now Indian clothes are going to be sold abroad and along with this lakhs of people of the region will also get employment. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday announced that PM Mitra Mega Textile Parks will be set up in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. Taking to Twitter, PM Modi said, “PM Mitra Mega Textile Park will give a boost to the textile sector in line with the 5F (Farm to Fiber to Factory to Fashion to Foreign) vision. Happy to inform that PM Mitra Mega Textile Parks will be set up in Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Gujarat, MP and UP.

This is a major initiative to achieve the 5F vision of PM. These parks will make India a global supplier and hub for investment, manufacturing and exports. Textiles is an important sector in India providing the second largest number of jobs after the agriculture sector. These parks will generate 20 lakh direct/indirect jobs. It will also attract Rs 70,000 crore of domestic and foreign investment.

Employment opportunities will increase

PM Mitra Mega Textile Part 5F (Farm to Fiber to Factory to Fashion to Fashion to Foreign) will provide employment to lakhs of people. Ministry of Textiles will set up 7 Mega Integrated Textiles Sector and Apparel (PM Mitra) Parks with a total outlay of Rs. These parks will be developed on PPP model. This mega project will bring a boom in the textile industry. In this, everything from designing of clothes to its marketing and export will be in one place.
