According to the police, “At approximately 4.20 pm local time, a car arrived at the gate of Downing Street in a white hall. Armed officers detained a man at the scene on suspicion of criminality, damage and dangerous driving. (PM Rishi Sunak)
After this the police officers immediately rushed to the spot. White Halla Vedha Ghatla, located between London’s famous Trafalgar Square to Parliament Square. Officials in Downing Street were informed to stay inside. There is no information about whether their offices were there at the time of incident or not. Meanwhile, pictures that have gone viral on social media show a Pandhari migrant car crashing into the Downing Street gate.
It is not yet known whether the incident resulted in loss of life. The police are probing the incident by taking possession of the driver. PM Sunak’s office has refused to give any response regarding the incident.
