PNB celebrated Digital Literacy Day
Chandigarh (Best Hindu News): Chandigarh Zone of the country’s leading Public Sector Bank, Punjab National Bank (PNB) has gone digital today under the efficient leadership of Dr. Rajesh Prasad, Zonal Manager, as part of innovative work and to avoid online frauds to the customers. Literacy Day was celebrated. The main objective of celebrating this special day was to educate and educate the staff members of the bank and respected customers of the bank about the methods of criminals in today’s cyber crime era.
On this occasion, Dr. Rajesh Prasad said that in today’s cyber environment where every work is being done through digital medium and due to positive environment in banks, bank customers get caught in the clutches of cyber criminals. Cyber criminals impersonate bank officials and trap them, resulting in financial loss to them.
It is the responsibility of all the staff members to sensitize the customers of the bank about the modus operandi of the cyber criminals keeping themselves alert from the nets woven by them. Along with this, he also exhorted the customers to use the Bank’s official Facebook page, website and YouTube channel to know about the modus operandi being used by cyber criminals.
He further said that if all people make a rule in their life that they should not share the secret password of various banking channels being used by them on mobile phone with anyone, even if it is their close relative, So cyber criminals will not be able to harm you.
