Media reports also claim that an FIR was also registered earlier on the film. At present, the police have called the makers and director of ‘The Diary of West Bengal’ for questioning.

Sanoj Mishra has directed ‘The Diary of West Bengal’. On this whole issue, he says, ‘This film is completely based on facts. Genocide, rape and migration are happening on a large scale in Bengal. I urge the Prime Minister and the Home Minister to intervene in this matter.
