Prime Minister Narendra Modi has changed the mindset of the people at the level of the government and has gained the trust of the people of the country through his service. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said this on Saturday. He told a national conference organized on the occasion of completion of nine years of the Modi government that corruption was rampant in earlier governments, whereas since 2014 there is no mention of corruption. Sitharaman said that the government has made several achievements in various sectors in the last nine years and in each category it has improved its performance with each passing year. The Finance Minister said that there is something beyond the figures, which I have to tell you. Today the mindset has changed.

The rulers have changed their mindset. People who have voted for such a government see a change in mindset even among their friends and families. He further said, the change in mindset comes when the government trusts the people and when the people in turn trust the government. Sitharaman also added that people have faith that Prime Minister Modi will never do anything wrong or against the country and he will always be ready to serve the country. People had no hope from the previous government, he said. We thought that this country would be known only for corruption.

People have stopped doing business in this country. But today, the mindset has changed in India. People feel that the government is accountable to them. Will work for their good. This happened because of the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Sitharaman said, this is the reason why even today, compared to many world leaders, he (Narendra Modi) is more popular.
