The meeting of Dakra KDH Project Advisory Committee was held on Wednesday. In which PO Anil Kumar Singh proposed to give Sunday duty only to the workers who are present four days a week. Which the representatives of the labor organization opposed in one voice. However, PO Shri Singh said that considering the financial condition of the project, the representatives of the labor organization will also have to cooperate. The management is continuously giving information about the situation to the labor representatives at the area and headquarters level. Therefore, today the project level has also been discussed. It is noteworthy that if the attendance of workers working continuously for four days exceeds the fixed quota for Sunday duty, then Sunday duty will be determined on the basis of ranking after assessing the track record of the worker. Representatives of the labor organization said that after earlier discussion at the area level, when the decision to impose any conditions for Sunday duty was withdrawn, then once again the management should not make the mistake of spoiling the industrial environment of the area. Labor leaders said that today the management is running all the coal mines in dangerous conditions. Despite this, the workers are working at the risk of their lives. They are contributing their best in producing more and more coal. As soon as the production month ends, the management officials start behaving like a bureaucrat. The people of the labor organization warned that if any order is issued in this matter, the management will have to face the consequences like before.
