Cannes: Finally filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s film ‘Kennedy’ starring Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat has been screened at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival. Kennedy was screened during a midnight screening at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival. The team received a standing ovation with applause from the audience. The director walked the red carpet with the stars of the film, Sunny Leone and Rahul Bhat.

Taking to Instagram Stories, producer Ranjan Singh shared a glimpse of the screening of ‘Kennedy’. Before the screening, Ranjan left a picture of Anurag, Rahul Bhat, producer Kabir Ahuja and director Vikramaditya Motwane. He captioned the post, “And we are ready! Kennedy premiere @festivaldecannes. The moment of a lifetime!”

After making a red-carpet debut in a red velvet outfit, Sunny Leone opted for a pink satin gown at the premiere of her film ‘Kennedy’. Sunny took to Instagram to share pictures in her gown and with the ‘Kennedy’ team. Sunny wore a one-shoulder high-slit pink gown for the premiere. To go glam, she wore her hair in a sleek bun and opted for diamond earrings and embellished heels. The actor opted for a dewy makeup look. Sunny posed with Anurag Kashyap and his co-star Rahul Bhat.
Sharing the pictures, she wrote, “Proudest moment of my career so far! Thank you Anurag Kashyap for this moment! Rahul Bhat for letting me share the screen with you in this amazing performance! Love you both!” Sunny also shared a series of pictures in her gown and captioned it, “World premiere of Kennedy and I couldn’t be more proud to represent Indian cinema.” Such an amazing moment for me and the whole team!”

Directed by Kashyap, ‘Kennedy’ stars Sunny Leone, Rahul Bhatt and Abhilash Thapliyal in lead roles. The film revolves around an insomniac ex-cop, long thought dead, but still working for a corrupt system, and searching for redemption. ‘Kennedy’ is one of the two films from India that have been officially selected at the festival this year.
