Rajinikanth Health | Rajinikanth admitted to Chennai hospital after severe stomach pain, superstar’s condition stable now
Veteran actor Rajinikanth has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai after complaining of severe stomach discomfort. The 73-year-old superstar may undergo an elective heart procedure on October 1. Reports suggest that his condition is stable, although there has been no official update yet. After the news of his hospitalization, fans have started praying for their beloved ‘Thalaivaa’. Rajinikanth will be next seen in TJ Gnanavel’s film Vettaiyaan.

Late on Monday night, actor Rajinikanth suffered severe stomach pain, after which he was taken to Apollo Hospital in Chennai. Hospital sources confirmed that his condition was stable. According to reports, the 73-year-old actor may have to undergo an elective procedure on Tuesday. However, no official information has been given yet by Rajinikanth’s family or the hospital.

Earlier in 2020, he was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad after complaining of high blood pressure. He was admitted days before the launch of his political party. After being discharged from the hospital, he announced that he would not enter politics due to health reasons. Rajinikanth underwent treatment for three days before returning to his residence in Chennai.
Rajinikanth had said that he took his health condition as a ‘warning from God’ and would not go ahead with his plans to enter politics for the 2021 Tamil Nadu elections.
It is noteworthy that after announcing to contest Tamil Nadu Assembly elections on 31 December 2017, Rajinikanth had announced Rajini Makkal Mandram. There is an atmosphere of excitement among Rajni’s supporters after the announcement of his entry into politics. His party was to be launched in January, five months before the state elections. However, due to his poor health condition he dissolved Rajini Makkal Mandram.
