Chennai: The condition of Tamil megastar Rajinikanth, who was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai on Monday night, is now stable. A health bulletin has been issued by the hospital giving updates on his health. The hospital said in a statement that the megastar has undergone a successful heart operation. Also said that he will be discharged by Thursday. Rajinikanth was admitted to Apollo Hospital, Grimes Road on September 30, 2024, the hospital said in a statement. He had inflammation of the main blood vessel (aorta) of his heart, which was treated with a non-surgical transcatheter method.
Senior interventional cardiologist Dr. Sai Satish completely reduced the swelling by placing a stent in the aorta, the statement said. We would like to inform his well-wishers and fans that his treatment was successful. Rajinikanth is now healthy and stable and his condition is improving. They will be allowed to go home in two days. The superstar will soon be seen in the film Vettaiyaan with Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan and Malayalam star Manju Warrier. This film will be released on 10 October. T.J.
