Rajneesh Duggal said- My wife used to get affected by the kissing scene and she used to ask – what is there in this film?

Rajneesh Duggal, who has won the title of Supermodel, has appeared in many films like ‘1920’, ‘Dangerous Ishq’, ‘Ek Paheli Leela’, ‘Wajah Tum Ho’, besides appearing on TV in ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, ‘Aarambh’ and ‘Sanjog’. were also seen. These days he is in discussion, recently Rajneesh had come to NBT’s office with his web series ‘Inspector Avinash’ of OTT. Apart from the series, in a special meeting at NBT’s office, he reveals the difficult phase of his career and why he stayed away from the kissing scene for a long time.

What was new for you in Rajneesh Inspector Avinash?
It was a matter of that time, when I was removed from the role of Dalit Shankar in ‘Bagavat’ and was in the same zone. My beard and hair had grown. I came to know that the casting is on for Ahlawat, a parallel role of Randeep Hooda in Inspector Avinash. When I went to meet director Neeraj Pathak, the first thing he said was that I would have to cut my hair and beard. I cut my hair and beard and felt that my previous Dalit role was going away and I was getting into a new character. This character is different from my previous characters, I am in a new look.

Did you feel any kind of insecurity while doing this web series with Randeep Hooda in the title role?
No, the reason is that Randeep Hooda may be in the title role, but writer-director Neeraj Pathak wrote each character in a special way. I was satisfied with my role. I found many such interesting scenes in the series, which I felt would be enough for me as an actor if they came in the right way.

Two colors of police are often shown in films and series, one extreme corrupt and the other extremely honest. What kind of police have you been brought up with?
My maternal grandfather was SP. He was very stern and angry. He passed away when I was a year old, but from what I heard from my mother and aunt, he was a very honest cop. Jarayampesha people used to tremble at his name, but his end was not good at all. He had gone to the death of an acquaintance. There was a jeep in the house, but he was very fond of the bike, so he went on a bullet. On the way, some of his enemies made him fly from the truck. At the time when he passed away in this accident, his age was only 60-62. I wanted to join the police or the army from the beginning, but my mother never let me join the police because of the tragic death of my maternal grandfather. When you are very honest, you have to pay the price.

Rajneesh started your career as a super model. You gave a super hit film like 1920, also did a lot of work on TV and OTT, but your fans feel that you are yet to get your due?
Yes, I think my best is yet to come. I feel there is a lot in me which is yet to be explored. I understand, today I have matured as an actor as well and have the passion to do a lot more.

What was the most difficult time for you as an actor?
At the time of ‘1920’ when I signed a contract for three films, I was number one in modeling. At that time I was the highest paid model. But when I started in films, I knew that I have to start from zero. I saved the money for a year and I got into films. I also did a lot of preparation. Luckily my first film 1920 was a super hit. After that I chose the best of the films that were offered to me. At that time there was no one to guide me, so that phase passed, but I think the worst phase was when my father was ill. He was on dialysis and shifted to Vrindavan. I was very close to him. It was the era of 2017-18. Even if I received a phone call from Vrindavan, I used to tremble with the apprehension of evil. At the same time, I also played the role of Shri Krishna in Shrimad Bhagwat Purana because of my father, but then my father passed away. I was shooting. It was a big shock, but I had to return to shooting after doing father’s fourth, because a set worth crores was put up. Mother explained to me that had my father been there, he too would have wanted me to return to work.

Rajneesh you are known as a family man. How important is family to you?
Family has been very important to me ever since I started working. In the beginning of my career, my wife Pallavi used to be my girlfriend. When I got married, I was 24 and at the top of my modeling career. At that time people said that you are still a child, why are you getting married? Your following will decrease. I didn’t care for him. Me and Pallavi are good friends, have grown up together. We have been together since I was 20 and know each other’s pulse. He is my support system.

Don’t feel tempted to work with sexy heroines in the glamor world? How to stay away from stains while living in the mascara closet?
You know, for a long time I decided not to kiss on screen. That’s why I refused many films. I was offered the first film Murder, which I refused because of kissing and intimate scenes. I rejected a film by Khalid Mohammed because of the kissing scene. By the time Band Baaja Baaraat arrived, on-screen kissing had become quite common. I made this bond from my side that I will not kiss on screen, although she also did not want me to do kissing scenes. It is obvious that she is not an artist, so she could not understand that 50 people stand in front of the set while kissing in the shooting and this is for my art. Although she is very understanding. Later I did kissing scenes in films like ‘Wajah Tum Ho’, ‘Beimaan Love’, ‘Leela’, but then I realized that if she was affected by these things, which she used to be, then I should not do that. K scene. I remember she used to ask, is it in the film? So I didn’t do those scenes for a long time, but when I did my first song ‘Mohabbat Barsa De’ for ‘Creature 3D’, it had a series of kisses and I was told from home that in one video you become Emraan Hashmi. Went. I agree that kissing scene also gives you a different kind of following. Now think for yourself, handsome actors like John Abraham, Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise say that if they don’t do such scenes on screen, then their following will be less than half, it is obvious that such heroes also have a large audience. wants to see So it is a very thin line that in which space do you have to go?
