The film is jointly produced under Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios and Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures. This is the first joint venture of Ranbir Kapoor and Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Animal is an action thriller set against the backdrop of gangster wars. It is expected that Ranbir will be seen in an action-packed avatar of sorts. On the other hand, Gadar 2 is making headlines for bringing back the story of Tara Singh and Sakina. The film will feature the same star cast of the prequel and is expected to continue the same story post a major leap.
