Recipe: Make ‘Amritsari Style Chole’ in Sunday Special today, learn the method

necessary ingredients
– 2 cups soaked chickpeas
– 2 tomato paste
– 2 onion paste
– Paste (5 garlic cloves, 1 tsp poppy-, 1 tbsp magaj)
– 1 tbsp fresh curd
– 2 bay leaves, 1 piece of cinnamon
– 2-4 cloves
– 2 thick black pepper
– 4 tbsp oil
– half tsp cumin
– 1 tsp garam masala
– Few green coriander (chopped)
Salt as per taste

recipe
Add chickpeas, water and salt as required in the cooker and boil on low flame for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and fry all the whole spices and cumin seeds.
When cumin starts crackling, add onion paste and fry it.
Add all the powdered spices and garlic-magaz-poppy seeds paste and fry well.
Cook by mixing 2 cups of hot water, tomato puree and curd.
Add boiled chickpeas, garam masala and salt and cook for a while.
Garnish with green coriander and serve.
