Bangalore. Kantara fame Rishabh Shetty has clarified his stand on joining politics on social media and said that he is not joining politics. He also appealed to the fans to support his cinema. Rishabh Shetty reacting to journalist’s tweet that he is joining politics, said: This is fake news. Say clearly that today is April 1st. “Some people have projected me as a supporter of a particular party. I will never go into politics.

One of his fans had responded that he should join politics and would support him. Rishabh Shetty said that he does not need her support in politics. Please support my cinemas, it is more than enough.

After the release of the film Kantara, rumors spread that he would join a political party. His appeal to moviegoers not to mock the screams of God shown in the film Kantara and his temple visits also indicated that he would enter politics.
