Royal Enfield Bike: Motorcycle company Royal Enfield is working on a plan to strengthen its international penetration. The company intends to set up assembly operations in Nepal and Bangladesh. The company’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) B Govindarajan gave this information.

The company has a presence in more than 40 countries in the middle weight segment of 250 cc to 750 cc motorcycles. The company is relying on its existing products for expansion. Along with this, it also has the intention of launching some new products.

Govindarajan said, we feel that there is potential for Royal Enfield to gain more share in all the markets where we are present. He informed that the company has achieved a market share of 8.1 percent in the North American region. The company’s journey in this field started a few years ago through its subsidiary.

Apart from this, the company’s share in the Asia-Pacific region is nine percent, while it has reached about 10 percent in the EMEA (Europe, West Asia and Africa) region. He told that due to the ‘super-refined engine’ of the company’s J-series, its market share is increasing.
