On Friday, the BSE Sensex was trading near the 62,000 mark with a gain of 120 points. Similarly, the Nifty gained 31.65 points and opened at 18,352.80. Out of 30 stocks from Sensex, 22 have gained and 8 have declined.

There was a boom in the market on Thursday
Earlier in the last trading session, the stock market had closed on the rise. On Thursday, the 30-share BSE benchmark Sensex had closed at 61,873, up 99 points or 0.16%. The broader NSE Nifty was up 36 points, or 0.20%, at 18,321.
