Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great pomp every year at the house of the Bollywood actress. This time too, special preparations were made for this celebration at her place. This program concluded with great pomp on Sunday with Ganpati immersion.

She immersed Ganpati Bappa in the artificial pond built in the building campus itself. Shilpa was accompanied by her husband Raj Kundra, sister Shamita Shetty and son Vihaan.
While talking to the journalists during the immersion of the idol of Lord Ganesha, Shilpa Shetty said that we all celebrate this festival with great pomp. The actress danced a lot to the tune of the band, she immersed Ganpati Bappa after taking a promise from him to come again next year.
Talking about Shilpa Shetty’s personal life, she married businessman Raj in November 2009. The couple has two children – son Viaan and daughter Samisha.
Shilpa last played the role of Tara in ‘Indian Police Force’ produced and directed by Rohit Shetty and Sushant Prakash. The series featured Siddharth Malhotra and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles.
She will next be seen as Satyavati Agnihotri in ‘KD-The Devil’. The upcoming Kannada action film is directed by Prem and produced by Supreeth under KVN Production. The film stars Dhruva Sarja, Reshma Nanaiah, V Ravichandran, Ramesh Aravind, Jisshu Sengupta and Nora Fatehi and Sanjay Dutt.
