Shobhan Choudhury takes over as General Manager of Northern Railway

New Delhi (Best Hindu News): Shobhan Choudhury today took over as the General Manager of Northern Railway. Prior to taking over as General Manager, Northern Railway, Choudhuri was serving as Secretary, Railway Board.
A 1986 batch IRSSE officer, Shobhan Choudhury has served Indian Railways in important executive and management positions like Executive Director (Telecom Development), Divisional Railway Manager, Bhopal and Senior Divisional Signal & Telecom Engineer in Jabalpur Division in Railway Board.
Along with this, he has played a commendable role in Telecom related policy making in Rail Tel Corporation. He also held the post of Chief Signal and Telecommunication Engineer Project in West Central Railway. Chaudhuri has served as Additional General Manager in West Central Railway since October 17, 2019. During this period he also temporarily held the post of General Manager of West Central Railway for a few days.
Chaudhuri, who has a very simple, easy-going and sociable personality, is receiving best wishes from hundreds of railwaymen and railway officials for his new posting.
