san francisco (Uttam Hindu News): Tech major IBM has stopped advertising on Facebook over Elon Musk’s stance supporting posts promoting anti-Semitism. The non-profit organization Media Matters drew attention to the topic, saying that as Musk continues to dabble in white nationalist and anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, his social media platform Apple, Bravo (NBC Universal), IBM, Oracle, and Is advertising for major brands like Xfinity (Comcast).
IBM issued a statement to the Financial Times saying it has suspended all advertising on “X” while we investigate this completely unacceptable situation. Media Matters said the company’s Placement CEO Linda Yaccarino is trying to lure advertisers back to the platform by claiming it is safe for business. He also claimed that ‘X’ is demonstrating its full commitment to fighting anti-Semitism on the platform.
X has also reinstated several accounts of Fanatics as part of its creator advertising revenue sharing program. Which also includes accounts of Hitler supporters.
