Shooting of Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna-starrer film Chhaava will start from next month – Dainik Savera Times
Mumbai: The shooting of Bollywood actor Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer film Chhaava will start from next month. Chhaava is a period drama film. Actor Vicky Kaushal will be seen in the role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, the eldest son of the founder of the Maratha Empire and the great warrior king Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, in the film Chhaava. At the same time, Rashmika Mandanna will play the role of Yesubai Bhosle, wife of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. This film will mainly focus on the sacrifice of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj and his strategies for the war.
The film is all set to begin its production in the month of October, a source told IANS. Regarding the film Chhaava, it is being told that Rashmika Mandanna was the first choice for it and she was cast after her look test. After Zara Hatke, Zara Bachke, Chhaava will be the second collaboration between Vicky and director Laxman Utekar. The film is being produced under the banner of Maddock Films and will be her first historical project. Vicky Kaushal’s The Great Indian Family is upcoming, while Rashmika Mandanna was last seen in Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra.
