Stock Market Update: Market strong on the last trading day of the week, Sensex, Nifty closed with gains

The Sensex gained over 200 points on the last trading day of the week. Sensex rose 629.07 points, or 1.02 percent, to close at 62,501.69 points, Nifty closed at 18,499.35 points with a gain of 178.20 points, or 0.97 percent.
Amidst the mixed signals from the global markets, today the domestic stock market was bright. There is an increase in Sensex and Nifty. Mixed trend is being seen in today’s business. Bank, Financial, Pharma index are in red mark on Nifty. While Auto, Metal, IT, FMCG indices are showing in green mark.
Top gainers of NIFTY
RELIANCE shares on NSE Nifty are up by 2.82 per cent, SUNPHARMA by 2.32 per cent, HINDALCO by 2.18 per cent, HINDUNILVR by 2.11 per cent, HCLTECH by 1.97 per cent.
There was a break in these stocks on NIFTY
On the NSE Nifty, ONGC declined by 1.20 per cent, GRASIM by 0.96 per cent, BAJAJ-AUTO by 0.62 per cent, BHARTIARTL by 0.60 per cent and POWERGRID by 0.40 per cent.
indian rupee fell
At the interbank foreign exchange market, the Indian rupee declined marginally by 0.17 paise to close at 82.57 per dollar at the Interbank Foreign Exchange market.
