District Collector Ayush Oak gave information about the Pre-Vibrant Future Ready 5F Textile Seminar in Surat on Thursday 23 November in the presence of State Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel and Union Textiles Minister Piyush Goyal.
In a press conference held at the District Collector’s office, Collector Ayush Oak said that Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit-2024 has been organized in Gandhinagar in January 2024. As a part of which, Textiles in collaboration with the State Government, ASSOCHAM and Chamber of Commerce A pre-Vibrant Textile Summit on the theme “Future Ready 5F: Gujarat’s textile vision for a developed India” will be organized in the hub of Surat. In which about 550 entrepreneurs have registered.
The District Collector said that what will be the vision of textile for developed India in 2047, textile experts will address the Prime Minister’s previous 5F vision – Farm to Fiber – Fiber to Fabric – Fabric to Fashion – Fashion to Foreign.
In this pre-vibrant summit, Chief Minister of the state Bhupendrabhai Patel, Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and Textiles, Government of India Piyushbhai Goyal, Minister of State for Railways and Textiles Darshanaben Jardosh, Minister of State for Home Harshbhai Sanghvi will be present.
In the seminar to be held in three sessions, Sohail Nathwani, Chairman, National Trade Council ASSOCHAM will provide guidance on Gujarat Textile Weaving for Vikseet Bharat, Prashant Aggarwal on Leading Edge Textile Infrastructure from Foam Looms and Senior Consultant Suryadev Mukherjee on VVIG Tradition Technology.
Apart from this, he said that in this seminar, managers and representatives of industrial units present among the leading tech industries of the country will also give detailed information about this. District Industries Manager Mr. Mitesh Ladani was present in the press conference.
