Bangalore (Uttam Hindu News): Union Minister of State for Electronics & IT and Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Rajeev Chandrashekhar said on Friday that the Modi government has set a target of creating 10 lakh new jobs in the electronics sector alone in the next four years.

During an interaction with the youth here, Shri Chandrashekhar said, “Our Prime Minister has a dream that the value of electronics manufacturing products made in the country should reach Rs 24 lakh crore by 2025-26. This means that by 2026-27, 10 lakh employment opportunities will be created in the field of electronics alone.

Students of Government Sri Krishna Rajendra Silver Jubilee Technological Institute (SKSJTI), Bengaluru participated in the dialogue, held at Gyan Jyoti Auditorium here as part of the dialogue series ‘New India for Young India’. The Minister of State for IT said that this is the most exciting phase in history and the present generation of students are the luckiest in the history of India. More than 1,500 students participated in this session of ‘New India for Young India’.
