‘The Kerala Story’ gives a tough fight to Fast X on Day 22, math will change on the weekend

The Kerala Story Collection Day 22: The controversial film ‘The Kerala Story’, directed by Sudipto Sen, has already become an all-time blockbuster. Its budget is 15-20 crores. While according to ‘Box Office India’, in 22 days the film has collected a net collection of Rs 196.82 crore. On its 4th Friday, the film’s earnings are definitely 25% less than on 21st day, but the good news for this is that there is no competition at the box office this week. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra’ and Jimmy Shergill’s ‘Azam’ both proved to be disaster on the opening day itself.

‘The Kerala Story’ beats ‘Suryavanshi’
Due to lack of competition, ‘The Kerala Story’ is not going to face any major problem in the fourth week as well. While by Sunday in the fourth weekend, it will easily join the 200 crore club. In the films released after the pandemic, it has now overtaken ‘Suryavanshi’ to become the 5th highest-grossing Hindi film. But it is also true that this film is now getting tired due to being old. In such a situation, after the weekend, the film’s collection may fall further from Monday. The lifetime collection of the film is going to be around Rs 225 crore.
Fast X’s dominance rests on the second weekend
On the other hand, the bang with which Fast X was released a week back has started to fade away. Vin Diesel and Jason Momoa’s film, which started with 12.50 crores on the opening day, did a business of 43.25 crores in the first weekend. But after the weekend, there is a continuous decline in the film’s earnings since Monday. According to Sacnilk’s report, the film did a business of Rs 4.15 crore on Thursday. Whereas on Friday it has earned only Rs 2.98 crore.

‘Fast and Furious 10’ has earned 82 crores
Fast X Box Office Collection Day 09: However, Fast X has definitely become the highest-grossing film of its ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise in India. The film has collected a net collection of Rs 82.38 crore at the Indian box office in 9 days. There are many expectations from Saturday and Sunday. One of the major reasons behind the fall in the film’s earnings is that the prices of tickets for IMAX, 3D and 4DX versions were also cut by up to 50% to woo the audience on weekdays. Due to the lack of further competition, the pace of earning of this film is also going to continue according to its own accord. Directed by Louis Leterrier, this film will easily join the 100 crore club in India.
