“It amazes me I’ve lived this long,” Reddick told PTI earlier this month ahead of the release of his film “John Wick: Chapter 4”.

Actor Lance Reddick, known for his stellar performances in “The Wire”, “Fringe” and the “John Wick” series of films, died on Friday. He was 60 years old. Reddick’s spokeswoman Mia Hansen said in a statement that the actor died “suddenly” Friday morning of natural causes. “It amazes me I’ve lived this long,” Reddick told PTI earlier this month ahead of the release of his film “John Wick: Chapter 4”.

He said this about his role in this violence-filled series, but for Reddick, who suddenly said goodbye to the world at the age of 60, these words seem like prophecy. Reddick said, “I’m surprised I’ve lived this long… It’s interesting because when I read the script for this movie, I was surprised how many people had died.” I think it will be a record.” ‘John Wick: Chapter 4’ will release in India on March 24.

In a statement released to the US media, the film’s director Chad Stahelski and lead actor Keanu Reeves mourned Reddick’s passing and dedicated the film to him. Reddick’s death was mourned on social media by many artists and others, including filmmakers and actors. Reddick is survived by his wife, Stephanie Reddick, and children Yvonne Nicole Reddick and Christopher Reddick.
