Three Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on refugee camp in Gaza
Gaza (Uttam Hindu News): Three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli airstrike on Tuesday in the Nusraet refugee camp located in the center of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army has suddenly advanced in Khan Yunis, South Gaza.
According to Palestinian security sources, the Israeli Air Force fired a missile at a house west of the Nusraat camp. The airstrike was accompanied by heavy artillery fire, which also hit a school providing shelter to displaced people.
Medical sources said that three Palestinians were killed in the attack and several were injured and taken to hospital.
Local sources also reported that Israeli troops injured several Palestinians at the Netzarim intersection in the center of Gaza. These Palestinians were trying to return from south to north when the soldiers opened fire on them.
The Israeli military said it spotted several suspicious people in the center of Gaza who posed a threat to soldiers. So they opened fire, wounding several people, although the Israeli soldiers were unharmed.
Eyewitnesses in Khan Yunis reported that Israeli forces suddenly advanced into the Kijan an-Najjar area amid heavy firing. Due to this, hundreds of Palestinian families got trapped there. People were injured amid the sound of cannons and bullets. Many people started running to save their lives due to this sudden action.
