Tragic death of a truck driver in a horrific collision between two trucks

Aurangabad: A 30-year-old truck driver died tragically in a collision between two trucks on National Highway 19 near the railway bridge of Barun police station area. The deceased has been identified as Mithlesh Chauhan, son of Vijay Chauhan, resident of Barora village under Dhanbad district of Jharkhand. However, the ancestral village of the deceased is in Koshdihara village of Rohtas.

During the post-mortem at Sadar Hospital, the relatives of the deceased told that Mithilesh used to support his family by driving a truck. Had left for Dhanbad with rice on a truck from Banaras in Uttar Pradesh. As soon as Barun reached near the railway bridge of the police station area. Meanwhile, another truck hit him, due to which Mithilesh died tragically on the spot. After the incident, a crowd of people gathered nearby. Local people informed the Barun police station about the incident. On information, Inspector Satyendra Singh of Barun police station reached the spot with his team and took possession of both the trucks and took them to the police station. He identified the deceased and informed the family about the incident. After the information, the family reached the police station and started screaming after seeing the dead body. The police of Barun police station got a statement from the family members and completed the post-mortem process and after getting the post-mortem done at Sadar Hospital, they handed it over to the family members. It was revealed that the deceased had two sons and a daughter.

Barun police station incharge Kumar Saurabh said that a truck driver has died in the collision between two trucks. At present both the trucks have been seized and brought to the police station. Further action is being taken in the matter. After the incident, the family members are in bad condition and there is mourning in the village. The family members have demanded compensation from the district administration under disaster relief.
