Valencia forward Kluivert injured in robbery at girlfriend’s house

On Thursday, three masked men stormed a house in the Valencian suburb of Betera. They attacked Kluivert’s girlfriend and a friend who was with him. The masked thieves made away with watches and jewelry worth 150,000 euros, Xinhua news agency reported. Earlier in the scuffle, Kluivert’s girlfriend and her friend suffered minor injuries.
In recent years, several footballers in Spain have been victims of criminal syndicates. Former Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and his wife were robbed at their residence outside Barcelona.
Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema’s home was burgled in January 2022, while teammate Rodrigo Goes also suffered a burglary earlier this month when he was away for a match.
