He raced down the pitch and managed to catch the ball before it reached the mid-wicket fielder. However the Australian batsmen were able to complete two runs.

In the first ODI played between India and Australia, KL Rahul and Ravindra Jadeja gave India a thrilling victory. With the help of Rahul’s 75 not out and Jadeja’s 45 not out, India achieved the target of 189 runs in just 39.5 overs and won by 5 wickets. Despite the top-order collapse, the duo’s partnership proved to be a game-changer.

India’s bowlers, Mohammed Shami and Mohammed Siraj, also played key roles in the victory, each taking three wickets as Australia were bowled out for 188. Despite a strong start from Mitchell Marsh, who scored 81 off 65 balls, Australia failed to capitalize on their early momentum and were eventually bowled out by India.
