From politicians to celebrities: who’s on the guest list?
The wedding guest list reportedly includes political leaders like Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Rajya Sabha member Kapil Sibal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP MP Sanjay Singh. Congress spokesperson Abhishek Manu Singhvi will also reportedly be among those present.
Meanwhile, many popular faces from the film fraternity are also said to be a part of the wedding guest list. This also includes Chopra’s cousin and actress Priyanka Chopra, who flew in from the US to attend her engagement ceremony in May earlier this year. It is being said that this list also includes Akshay Kumar, who will be seen with Chopra in Mission Raniganj.

According to a report in Hindustan Times, the couple’s pre-wedding celebrations began on September 17 in Delhi. It included Ardaas and Shabad Kirtan ceremonies which are part of their big Punjabi wedding. The publication further reported that the two will celebrate for a week in Udaipur, after which they will host a grand reception in Chandigarh.

The couple has an elaborate wedding schedule which can be seen on their elegant and finely decorated wedding cards. The main wedding is to take place on September 24. It is being said that the procession will move from Taj Lake Palace to Leela Palace.
The theme of their special day is said to be ‘Pearl White Indian Wedding’. The pair will reportedly wear matching pastel outfits, which is said to be a reflection of their love story and personalities.
