Xi invites Biden to join BRI

Under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) launched by Xi Jinping in 2015, China has so far invested more than one thousand billion US dollars. This plan of China has been criticized by many countries including America and India.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has invited US President Joe Biden to join his favorite global initiative, BRI. Xi also expressed his readiness to join Washington-backed multilateral cooperation initiatives.

Many countries including Sri Lanka and Pakistan have been the biggest beneficiaries of this scheme of China and all these countries are burdened with increasing debt. America, India and many countries of the European Union are not part of the BRI.
