Karan Singh, son of former Indian Wrestling Federation president Brij Bhushan Singh, has been appointed the president of Uttar Pradesh Wrestling Association. After which Indian wrestlers Bajrang Punia and Sakshi Malik have threatened to resume the protest.
Actually, in a video posted by Bajrang Punia on Instagram, it has been said that just 2-3 days ago, Brij Bhushan’s son was made the president of UP Wrestling Association. Whereas he had said that no one from his family would come into wrestling administration. The government had promised that Brij Bhushan or his relatives or associates would not rule the game.
The Indian wrestling wrestler further said that, we wrestlers will talk to all those who support us. Farmer groups, Khap Panchayats, labor unions and women’s organizations and will take a decision in the next two to three days. I request the government not to force us to start protests again.
Hello everyone! I request the government to take a decision on this as soon as possible. Do not consider our silence as our weakness. @ianuragthakur @IndiaSports @wrestling pic.twitter.com/VOH5dPk95f

“Over the next few days, we will talk to everyone involved in the protests and decide future actions,” he said in a video posted on Twitter. I request the government to remove people associated with Brij Bhushan from WFI and put someone who is clean and competent at the top.
