There is no use of bowlers 11 batsmen played in RCB team- Srikanth

New Delhi . Former India cricketer Kris Srikkanth has said that he was saddened to watch Royal Challengers Bangalore’s bowling performance against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the record-breaking IPL 2024 match at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have lost their fifth consecutive match in IPL 2024. This time they have lost at home and against them Sunrisers Hyderabad made the highest score of 287/3 in the league history.

While chasing the target, RCB also showed great fight by scoring 262/7, but fell short of the target.

Srikkanth took a dig at RCB’s performance and advised them to play with all 11 batsmen, especially when they play at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Srikanth also said that Virat Kohli could have bowled better than the one who gave away 287 runs in the match.

Srikanth said in his YouTube show that Topley is being beaten. Lockie Ferguson is getting beat up. These foreign bowlers have not performed well in the IPL. He has traveled from Kolkata to Bangalore. Will Jack has been their best bowler.

It would be better if they play 11 batsmen. Ask Faf du Plessis to bowl 2 overs. Give 4 overs to Cameron Green. I think if Virat Kohli had bowled 4 overs, he would not have given so many runs. Virat Kohli is a good bowler. At one point I felt very bad for Virat Kohli, who was just watching the balls fly out of the stadium.

RCB went into the match without a single specialist spinner and with Mohammed Siraj on the bench, their bowling line-up looked inexperienced. They went for the off-spin of Will Jacques, who conceded 32 runs in his three overs. Fast bowlers Reece Topley, Yash Dayal, Lockie Ferguson and Vijaykumar Vishak gave away 137 runs in ten overs.

It was a perfect day for the batsmen as Sunrisers hit 22 sixes, which is another IPL record and RCB also hit a record 16 sixes. In this match, Sunrisers Hyderabad took T20 batting to a new level. It was impressive that he hit 41 fours in the innings.
