What is the matter after all?
Actually, this matter is related to fake news. A YouTube channel raised rumors about the health of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s only daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, seeing which the Bachchan family got very angry and now they have decided to take strict steps. The Bachchan family has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court asking for action against the YouTube channel, which ran fake news about the health of baby Aaradhya. The petitioner Bachchan family said in their petition that their daughter is a minor. Such negative news against him is disturbing. Please tell that Aishwarya and Abhishek have not officially reacted to these reports yet. However, Abhishek Bachchan has already reacted to trolling and negative news against his 11-year-old daughter.
What did the court say?
Hearing on this petition of Aaradhya Bachchan took place today. A single judge bench of Justice C Harishankar heard the matter. When the hearing of the case started, Justice C Harishankar’s bench asked the channel that why don’t you have a policy to deal with such cases. The court said that there is something wrong with YouTube’s zero tolerance policy. The court told the advocate appearing on behalf of the YouTube channel that you are just giving information and you have nothing to do with its truth. The court said, this is not a case of defamation, it is a case of disseminating false information. YouTube is a profit-taking platform and if you are taking advantage of it, then you also have a social responsibility.
