Ajay Pandit shooting case revealed in six hours, Koderma police arrested four accused, shot in land dispute

Koderma Bazaar, Gautam Rana: Jharkhand’s Koderma Police, showing promptness in the Ajay Pandit shooting case, not only cracked the case within just six hours but also succeeded in arresting 4 accused involved in the incident including the main conspirator. Along with this, the police have recovered weapons and bullets and other items from them. Ajay was shot by the accused in a land dispute, although he was seriously injured in the incident and is undergoing treatment. Superintendent of Police Anudeep Singh gave this information in a press conference on Tuesday.
These are included among the arrested accused
Among the arrested accused are Vinod Pandit, father Prabhu Pandit, resident of Bekobar under Koderma police station area and main conspirator Vinod Pandit, father Prabhu Pandit, Praveen Pandit (father late Sukhdev Prajapati), resident of Pandariya under Chauparan police station area, Pankaj Kumar, resident of Bhondo (father Suresh Pandit) of Chandwara police station and Sunil Thakur, resident of Bekobar. Names of (father Mahadev Thakur) are included. Police have seized the country-made pistol, two bullets, a black Honda Dream motorcycle and 3 mobile phones used in the incident from the accused.
Accused arrested within six hours
Koderma SP said that on Monday evening, Bekobar resident Ajay Pandit (father Degalal Pandit) was shot by unknown criminals. Taking the incident seriously, a special police team was formed under the leadership of SDPO. The police team under the leadership of SDPO Jeet Vahan Oraon investigated the case efficiently and cracked the case within just 6 hours of the incident. The accused involved in the shooting were arrested from different places. SP told that Ajay Pandit, who was seriously injured due to bullet injury, was shot by his Gotiya (cousin Vinod Pandit) with the intention of killing him, although Ajay Pandit was only injured in the incident.
The main conspirator’s son-in-law shot him
The Superintendent of Police said that there was a land dispute going on between Ajay Pandit and Binod Pandit. Panchayat was also held for this but Vinod Pandit felt that Ajay Pandit had more land in his share. Therefore, to remove him from the way, he conspired to murder and involved his son-in-law, Chauparan resident Praveen Pandit and Pankaj Kumar in this incident, while salon operator Sunil Thakur provided weapons (country made pistol and 3 bullets) for Rs 35 thousand. On the day of the incident, Pankaj Kumar was riding a bike, while Praveen Pandit shot Ajay Pandit. After committing the incident, everyone fled towards Chandwara.
Police officers included in the team including SDPO will be rewarded
SP said that for the prompt execution of the firing case, SDPO Jeetvahan Oraon, who was part of the team, was given a citation, while Koderma police station in-charge Sujit Kumar, Tilaiya police station in-charge Vinay Kumar, Nawalshahi police station in-charge Prem Kumar, SI Abdullah Khan and soldiers got two thousand rupees each. Rs. will be given as prize.
