One of the most awaited motorcycles of this year, APRILIA RS 457, is all set to launch in India tomorrow, December 8, 2023. The prices of the motorcycle will be announced at the India Bike Week automotive event held in Goa. This will be the first Italian bike produced in India. So expect it to be priced quite competitively, probably around Rs 4 lakh

APRILIA RS 457 has made its world debut

We already knew a lot when the motorcycle made its worldwide debut a few days ago. Its design is inspired by RS 660 and RSV4. The front fascia with straight split type LED headlamps, the entire bodywork is full of sharp cuts and creases and looks awesome. Instead, its riding ergonomics will be slightly more comfortable, allowing it to balance pleasure and dedication well.

Multi-level traction control

Behind its extended fairing is a 457 cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine, which produces 47 bhp and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. It is noteworthy that the power output is slightly higher than the KTM RC 390 and Kawasaki Ninja 400. The RS 457, based on a twin-spar aluminum frame, rides on 17-inch alloys, mated to a monoshock and USD forks. For convenience, it has full LED lighting, TFT reference, multi-level traction control and quick shifter.

The bike is powered by a 457cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that produces 47bhp. This power output is slightly higher than both its nearest rivals, the KTM RC 390 and the Kawasaki Ninja 400. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

The bike is supported by a twin-spar aluminum frame. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that are suspended by USD forks and a monoshock. Braking is handled by a disc brake with dual-channel ABS.

The bike includes a TFT instrument console, multi-level traction control, and a quick shifter. It also offers full-LED lighting.
