Audi Q8 e-tron launched in India, know its starting price

New Delhi : The new Audi Q8 e-tron electric SUV has been launched in the Indian car market. The new luxury comes in two body styles SUV and Sportback. The prices of both of them start from 1.14 crores in the ex-showroom of India. Bookings for the Q8 e-tron SUV and the Q8 e-tron Sportback began earlier this month at a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. However, their delivery will be started soon.
The new Audi Q8 e-tron SUV and the Sportback are essentially facelifts of the e-tron SUVs already on sale. Not only do they get cosmetic and feature upgrades, but this time around they also get the Q8 name attached to them. Exterior changes include new bodywork with reworked grille, lights, bumper and tailgate. The SUV looks sharper and sportier than before.
Design and Features
Inside the cabin of the Audi Q8 e-tron, the EV gets a luxurious look and is feature-rich. Its design includes a stately dashboard with a fully digital instrument cluster and a large touchscreen infotainment system in front of the driver. The center console houses a sleek touch panel.
Specification
Talking about the specifications of the new Audi Q8 e-tron, the car will be available in 50 and 55 trims. The entry-level e-tron 50 gets power from a 95 kWh battery pack, while the top-spec 55 trim gets a bigger 114 kWh battery pack. The top trim offers a range of up to 600 km on a single charge.
Booking starts from 10th August
Audi India has started pre-launch bookings for the Q8 e-tron on Thursday, 10 August 2023. This new SUV of the company can be booked online or through Audi dealership at a token money of Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom). It will be available in two body styles SUV and Sportback (SUV-coupe). As per media reports, the Q8 e-tron is nothing but a facelifted e-tron with a new name. It gets a completely new grille design with a DRL strip connecting both the headlights.

The Audi Q8 e-tron comes with improved aerodynamics, better charging performance and increased battery capacity. Its range has been increased to 582 km in the SUV. Important changes have been made in the design of the car, especially in the front part. This gives a completely new look to these very important electric cars of the company.
color option
The new Audi Q8 e-tron will be available in nine exterior color options. These include Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, Sonera Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Beej and Manhattan Grey. In the interiors of the car, the new Q8 e-tron will be offered in three colors – Okapi Brown, Pearl Beige and Black.
range and battery
The Audi Q8 e-tron is available in two trims – 50 and 55. The 50 trim gets a dual-motor setup, which generates 338 Bhp and 664 Nm and draws power from a 95 kWh battery pack on both the SUV and the Sportback. Its speed limit is 491 km and 505 km. Whereas, the 55 trim gets a more powerful dual-motor setup with 408 Bhp and 664 Nm of peak torque, which can accelerate the car from 0-100 kmph in 5.5 seconds. Its massive 114 kWh battery pack offers a range of over 600 km on a single charge. Both the SUV and the Sportback get charging ports on either side of the vehicle. Audi says that the electric offering will get a 22 kW AC charger and can support 170 kW DC fast charging.
