This is an incident in Udham Singh Nagar of Uttarakhand in which Karseva Dera chief Baba Tarsem Singh was murdered when he went out for a morning walk near the Dera. The incident is said to have happened around 6 in the morning. Police have said that immediately after receiving information about the incident, he was taken to the hospital where doctors declared him dead.

Information is being received that the accused youth riding the bike had their faces covered and fled away from there immediately after committing the incident.

While giving information about the incident, Uttarakhand Director General of Police Abhinav Kumar said that between 6:15-6:30 in the morning, two masked attackers entered Nanakmatta Gurudwara and shot Kar Seva chief Baba Tarsem Singh. He further said that this is a very serious matter. Senior officials have reached the spot. SSP is already present there. DIG Kumaon is also reaching there, he will inspect the incident site and talk to the local people.
