BMW iX xDrive50: BMW has launched the new high spec variant of iX xDrive50 in India. Its price is Rs 1.4 crore (ex-showroom). This is Rs 19 lakh more than the already available entry-level xDrive40 variant. The top-end xDrive50 gets a larger battery pack and a more powerful motor, improving performance as well as claimed range.
The design of the new variant is similar to the already existing xDrive40 variant. However, the top-end xDrive50 gets 22-inch alloy wheels as standard.
Talking about the features, it has a 12.3-inch digital driver display, 14.9-inch information system, Harman Kardon sound system with 18 speakers, wireless phone charging and a panoramic glass roof.
Its safety package includes a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like adaptive cruise control, lane-keep assist and blind spot detection.
The BMW iX xDrive50 has a larger 111.5 kWh battery pack that offers a WLTP-certified range of 635 km. It is paired with two electric motors, one at the front axle and the other at the rear axle, making it an AWD system. It produces 523 PS and 765 Nm of torque, which can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.6 seconds.

- 195 kW DC charger – 10% – 80% in 35 minutes
- 50 kW DC Charger – 10% – 80% in 97 minutes
- 22 kW AC charger – 100% in about 5.5 hours
- 11 kW AC charger – 100% in about 11 hours
