The report claims that before retiring the BMW Gran Turismo from the 6 Series, the company will continue to produce it for a few months. Its satisfactory demand has not been seen in the car brand. The report claimed that only 509 units of it were sold in Germany in 2022, which is a very low number. The 6 Series GT, halfway through 2023, has sold only 237 units in the company’s home country, becoming the worst performer from the automaker.
6 Series Gran Turismo is also sold in India
German automobile company BMW sells the 6 Series Gran Turismo in India as well. The diesel engine powered car is available in India at a starting price of Rs.72.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, BMW India has registered its best half and quarter sales this year during January-June and April-June period respectively. The automaker claimed that BMW and Mini together sold 5,867 cars between January and June this year. The company also said that the demand for its flagship models was highest.
