Step 1: First of all, go to the Citizen Centric Services section of sancharsthi.gov.in website by scrolling down.

Step 2: After selecting the option from the list at the bottom of this page, click on Reporting.

Step 3: From the drop-down option, select the fraud category, then upload the screenshot of the conversation.

Step 4: Enter the mobile number on which the scam call notification was sent.

Step 5: Report the scam by entering the date and time of the call.

Step 6: Enter your contact information. Check it with OTP and lodge a complaint.

How to report fake WhatsApp messages using Chakshu website

Step 1: From the Eye menu, select Medium mode of WhatsApp.

Step 2: Attach the screenshot of the message you received and select the fraud category from the drop-down option.

Step 3: Click on the suspicious WhatsApp chat window.

Step 4: Next, dial the phone number and enter the number that contains the fraudulent message.

Step 5: File a report and provide the time and date of the fraudulent call.

Step 6: Provide your personal data. After this verify the OTP.
