BK GoswamiAshok Jha, Jamshedpur: Jyoti Agarwal (39), wife of businessman Ravi Agarwal, resident of Sonari Aastha Hi Tech, was shot dead by unknown criminals in Kanderbera of Seraikela Kharsawan district on Friday night. Businessman Ravi Aggarwal took his wife Sweety to the hospital in an injured condition. After examination, doctors in the hospital declared the woman dead. After the incident, sensation has spread in the entire area and there is a feeling of anger among the businessmen. After the incident, many businessmen including Health Minister Banna Gupta, former Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce President Suresh Sonthalia reached TMH and demanded action from the police.

Extortion was demanded from the businessman, complaint was lodged

Ravi Aggarwal has a ply shop in Bhuiyandih. According to the information, a few days ago a demand for extortion was made on phone from Ravi Aggarwal, about which Ravi Aggarwal complained in Sitaramdera police station. It is alleged that the criminals carried out this massacre due to non-payment of extortion money.

Minister Banna Gupta gave open warning to criminals

Health Minister and Congress leader Banna Gupta, while talking to the media, strongly condemned the incident and expressed grief. He challenged the criminals and said that if the criminals are men then they should come forward and attack. While assuring investigation into the incident, he said that he will talk to Jharkhand DGP and Home Secretary and give instructions to take strict action.

How the criminals carried out the incident

On Friday, Ravi Aggarwal was returning back to the city with his wife after having dinner at a hotel on the highway when suddenly criminals stopped Ravi Aggarwal’s car between Kanderbera and Bev International. As soon as the criminals pointed the pistol, his wife Jyoti Aggarwal tried to stop the criminals. After which the criminals shot Jyoti Agarwal on the head and fled. Ravi Aggarwal immediately reached Tata Main Hospital with his wife. Where the doctors declared Jyoti Aggarwal alias Sweety dead after investigation. Police are investigating the reasons for the incident.
