Regarding the increase in prices, the company said that it had issued information about it on December 2 itself and now this price hike has come into force and it will be effective on different models of many Maruti cars.
Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices of all the models. In January 2023, an increase of up to 1.1 percent has been made in all variants of all the models of the company. After this, Maruti Suzuki’s vehicles have become expensive now. Maruti Suzuki India had said in its statement that the cost is increasing due to inflation and the introduction of new rules, to offset which the company has to increase the price of the models.
Maruti Suzuki has increased the prices on the ex-showroom. In this context, the price of Maruti’s cheapest car Alto has increased by about four thousand rupees. Whereas, WagonR has become costlier by Rs 6,000, Swift by Rs 6,500, Baleno by Rs 7,000 and Ertiga by Rs 9,500.
Maruti Suzuki is the number one car company in the country. For your information, let us tell you that the company had recently released its auto sales figures for December 2022. The company has sold a total of 1,16,662 units in the month of December. Earlier in November, the company had sold a total of 1,59,044 units. Not only this, more than five of the country’s top-10 best-selling cars are Maruti’s.
