Bihar: Patna. In view of the increasing heat, the private school managers of the city have changed the class timings. Some schools in the city had reduced class timings from April 1 with the start of the new session. At present, classes are being conducted in most of the schools of the city from 6:45 am to 1 pm. On Monday, Saint Dominic Savio’s High School also changed the class timings. Classes will run from Tuesday from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm. The timing of classes has also been changed in Don Bosco Academy located in Digha. Classes are being conducted here from 6:30 in the morning to 12:40 in the afternoon.
Ground assembly closed due to heat wave
There will be a change in the timing of classes in St. Xavier’s High School located at Gandhi Maidan in the city from next week. School Principal Father KP Domenic said that in view of the increasing heat, there will be a change in the timing of the school. Principal of Saint Karen’s High School, Seema Singh, said that in view of the heat, the ground assembly has been closed. School timings will be changed from next week. PK Singh, Principal of Kendriya Vidyalaya located at Bailey Road, said that the timing will be changed after the instructions are issued by the district administration.

Children of government schools are facing problems
Children in private schools have holidays, at that time studies are going on in government schools. Classes are being conducted in government schools of the city from 10 am to 3 pm. Due to the changing nature of weather, children studying in government schools are facing problems in commuting to school and also in studying in class. Abhay, the parent of a child studying in Government Middle School located in Rajendra Nagar of the city, said that due to extreme heat in the class, the children are being taught in the verandah. Santoshi Devi, the parent of a child studying in Veerchand Patel in Kankarbagh, said that due to the heat, the children are facing a lot of problems in going to school.
