Their argument is that till now not a single candidate from the Grand Alliance is from the minority community. Here, the party has not announced the candidate for Ranchi seat also. Former BJP MP Ramtal Chaudhary has joined Congress. However, the party is not giving ticket to Mr Chaudhary. The party is not finding an alternative to Subodh Kant Sahay in Ranchi.
Central Election Committee meeting in Delhi today:
The Central Election Committee meeting will be held in Delhi on Tuesday. Candidates may be announced for many states in this. Jharkhand in-charge Ghulam Ahmed Mir, state president Rajesh Thakur and legislature party leader Alamgir Alam will attend the meeting. The Central Election Committee can give its consent on four seats of Jharkhand. Two names from each seat have been sent by the state.
