Palamu: Water supply has stopped for two days in Purnadih, Kotkhas, Lesliganj, Kuraine Patra, Naudiha Panchayat of Nilambar Pitambarpur block of Palamu district. Water supply stopped due to money:
Employees working in water supply said that more than five thousand houses in 32 villages of five panchayats are taking advantage of Lesliganj water supply. In which about nine lakh 30 thousand rupees have been recovered by Jalsahiya from the connection money of more than three thousand houses. Despite this, due to lack of funds from the department, we have not received salaries for 10 months. Due to which we are facing a lot of problems. Therefore, the workers are on strike by stopping the drinking water supply.
Application of no-confidence motion against the Chief
Panchayat committee members have applied to BDO demanding a no-confidence motion against Chainpur block chief Gayatri Devi. BDO Nitesh Bhaskar said that the application will be sent to the SDO. The date, time and place for proving the vote of confidence regarding the no-confidence motion will be determined through the SDO only.
