Central investigation agency ED is tightening its grip on Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convenor Arvind Kejriwal. Where in the Delhi Excise Policy case, ED has issued him the ninth summons on March 21. Under which section was the case registered?
It is being told that ED has issued summons to Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal under Section 50 of the Money Laundering Act in the Delhi Jal Board case. The investigating agency is probing illegal tendering in Delhi Jal Board as well as laundering of alleged proceeds of crime. A video released by news agency ANI on Monday morning is from outside Kejriwal’s residence.

Ninth summons sent to Arvind Kejriwal
Here, a new summons has been issued by ED to the Delhi CM in the Delhi Excise Policy case. Even after eight summons, Kejriwal did not appear before the investigating agency. The central agency had sent the first summons to Arvind Kejriwal on 2 November 2023 while the second summons was sent on 21 November. After this, the third summons was issued on 3 January, the fourth summons on 18 January, the fifth summons on 2 February, the sixth summons on 19 February, the seventh summons on 26 February and the eighth summons on 4 March.
